Hello, loves! I've been so super duper busy I haven't had time to do my nails. They're incredibly shabby right now (as a weekend of DJing, drinking, and general fun-pursuing will leave them), so they need some time off. A few of my friends and I have had a lot of recent conversations about what we like to use to keep our peepers perfectly framed. I thought I'd share a couple of my favorite brow products with you! These two items are both available at Sephora, in case you should decide to go buy them immediately.
First up: my current Holy Grail of brow products! The Touch In Sol Browza Super Proof Gel Brow Pencil jumped out at me a few months ago while shopping, and I was intrigued by its claim to be waterproof. I'm always after long-lasting, powerful products. Being a DJ, I like to try to stay looking fresh, and that can be hard to do when it's suddenly 3am and you've been dancing your tush off behind your booth for several hours. However, this little product works very well! The gel formula glides on easily and is quite buildable. I opted to go with the Choc it Up color because it's a very middle-of-the-road shade, and can be doctored up or down with powder depending on what look you want that day.
To finish up the look and keep my little brow hairs from flying all around, I brush on a bit of this Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel in the color Brunette. It's also a gel-based formula, so it meshes very well with the gel pencil. Something that I believe sets this brow gel apart from the others I've tried (I also sometimes use my Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel) is that it has just the tiniest amount of shimmer. This keeps your brows from looking too flat, in my opinion, and gives them some dimension. If you're looking for flat, matte, insanely intense eyebrows, this might not be for you. I like that the brush is bigger, so it only takes one or two swipes to set my brows and be ready to go!
Do you have particular brow products you love? Do you prefer pencil or powder? Lemme know!
