The runway showcased the work of 13 students and graduates of The Art Institute of New York City, with both men's and women's looks. You may find more information about the showcase and You'll remember in my post about the supermodel Rain Dove that she walked as both male and female in this show. The Theater pavilion of the Lincoln Center epicenter was large and also quite cold! I recall wishing I had a jacket.
I really enjoyed this show because it was LONG. With some of the shows I attended, I felt that they ended too quickly. But with so many artists showcased at one event, it was guaranteed that the presentation would give you a lot of time to take it all in.
I snapped as many photos as I could of my favorite looks from all of the designers, which range from futuristic to hyper-feminine to men's half-kilts to a possible nod to Pharrell's now-famous vintage Westwood hat. Enjoy!
