Vivienne Hu's SS15 runway show was slated for 9:30am on September 9th at Pier 59 Studios. A slight debacle with address issues made Laura, Robby and me run quite late. We were worried we wouldn't make it in time, but as it turns out, the crowd was thin, and the show didn't start until after 10am. As the lights dimmed, my excitement skyrocketed. I was really at NYFW! It was actually happening! The lights lifted again, the music began, and out walked Rain, who you have probably become acquainted with from my blog post last night about her! All photographs by me unless otherwise specified.
Okay, okay, they aren't true matches after all. But I was just making a point regarding my earlier statement about having seen similar styles already out and about. Not to say that I wouldn't rock a tan leather frock! I also really enjoyed the music at the Vivienne Hu runway show, and after a few quick email correspondences, I ended up on the phone with Jason, who crafted the music for the show. Because, my life couldn't get any cooler. Models, musicians, who's next?!
